CASSE Aboriginal Australian Relations Program

Sutton Tools and Fiskars have been incredibly generous supporters of CASSE and the Men’s Tjilirra Movement (MTM) over a number of years through the donation and delivery of high quality hand tools for the MTM. Without this support, the MTM would not have been able to engage with communities on country so successfully.

In addition to the tools, Sutton Tools has pledged a contribution of $30,000 to secure the employment of Walter Jugadai (pictured above), a local ngangkari, to work with the MTM.

Sutton Tool’s Peter Sutton said, “As a company, we have been a long term supporter of Men’s Sheds”.

“It was a pleasure to meet Jamie [Millier Tjupurrula] and to hear first hand about the difference we in Melbourne can make for communities in central Australia.”
